In 1999 I met the most stylish skater I've ever known, Clark Walker. He unknowingly became my longboarding and style mentor. I still can't skate like him but I do my best. This lip slide sequence and video are from my old bobstricktips.com website.
Back then bandwidth was expensive and I had to make the videos tiny and short to avoid going bankrupt.
Clark is tall and lanky. He skates with more flow and style than anyone I've ever met. Look at these stills. Even the stills are dynamic. As he settles down on the slide, look at the compression and curves of his body. That is what it should look like.
He's doing this on a 40" solid wood longboard he made himself, with sand paper grip tape.
